Patricia (Pat) Cole, 66, Lawrence, IN, passed peacefully on September 20, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospice.

Pat is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Sean Sweaney of Lebanon, IN; son, Thomas Hill of Columbus, OH; 7 grandchildren, Ana-Gabriel Perez, Antonia Perez, Sarah Perez, Teresa Perez, Alex VanZandt, Lauren Hill, Taylor Hill; 1 great grandchild, Dakota Buday; and brother, Philip Cole of Cleveland, OH.

She was preceded in death by her loving sisters, Kathy Weir and Nancy Jackson.

Pat was born in Cleveland, OH, and will be remembered as an independent and spirited soul.  Pat married only once, to Mark Hill, and was the wife of an enlisted soldier at a very young age.  That marriage produced her only two biological children Michelle and Thomas, but she touched the lives of many children through her involvement in the church, scouting and the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO).  Pat worked very hard all her life to mold the attitudes and behaviors of those around her.  She will be always remembered as a mother, sister and grandmother who could entertain everyone with stories of her past and with pictures of her personal exploits in the present.

Pat did not wish for a funeral service to be held to commemorate her passing.  She leaves us rich in memories and in life lessons.
